Best List: MF Drive guitar pedal by Moog

The magic of what Moog has done with this analog stompbox isn’t completely evident until you plug an expression pedal into it.

Certainly the drive tones are exceptional and the controls provide a myriad of useable and inspirational tones, but the expression pedal unlocks Moog’s industry-leading love of sonic experimentation.

Just listen to Jimmy Page’s use of the Moog theremin to understand the Moog aesthetic.

You won’t get this wild with the MF Drive, which is part of Moog’s Minifooger line. But using an expression pedal to open and close the MF Drive’s filter, and playing with all the stompbox’s knobs, will yield countless hours of noodling opportunities.

Even if you are not a knob-tweaker or pedal-pumper, you will still find the solid build and excellent sonic quality of this Minifooger money well-spent.

The MF Drive does not come with a power supply, but Moog thoughtfully includes a 9-volt battery so you can get driving right away.
