If you’re looking for new games to explode onto your Mac, look no further than these three “best of” gaming guides from one of the most Mac-centric gaming voices on the web, Mac Gamer HQ.

Featuring the 10 best strategy games, the 10 best first-person shooters, and (just published!) the 10 best MMORPGs — all only for Mac gamers — these three lists are bound to point you in the right direction, letting you set your sights on some amazing Mac gaming experiences without having to buy and try them all yourself.

MacGamer HQ over two years ago to advocate for the Mac as a great gaming platform.

“Every one assumes it simply isn’t viable,” publisher Ric Molina told us. “(or that) there are no good games on it. But truth is, there are amazing games you can play on your Mac right now.”

These great lists are full of some of the very best of Mac gaming, only including the good stuff.

“No web-based fremium stuff here,” writes Molina. “Sorry!”

The strategy games listed include genre-defining titles like XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Total War: Shogun 2, and Civilization V, all of which run exceptionally well on the Mac.

The list of Best First Person Shooters for your Mac is pretty darn fantastic, too. You’d be missing out if you didn’t play the frantic Team Fortress 2, or the deeply cinematic time-travel epic Bioshock: Infinite. This list wouldn’t be complete without Deus Ex: Human Revolution or Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. This is a list not to miss, for sure.

Finally, if you’re looking for quests to keep you busy long into the wee hours of the morning, or to raid dungeons with several of your besties, massively multiplayer online role playing games, or MMORPGs might be the answer. Find 20 of the best of the genre in this Mac Gamer HQ list to rule them all, with winners like World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2, Elder Scrolls Online, and even the excellent and underrated Star Trek Online vying for your gaming time and dollar.

It’s never been a better time to be a Mac gamer, and these fantastically detailed lists are a great way to grow your collection, one (or four!) excellent Mac game at a time.
