AppleOwner.com, a Taiwanese Apple-oriented website, has leaked what are purported to be pictures of the new MacBook, a highly anticipated revision to Apple’s line of increasingly popular notebook computers expected to be available within the next six weeks.

The photographs are long on suggestion, but short on detail, and may well be noting more than placeholders on the AppleOwner website. Make of them what you will.

This looks like somebody Photoshopped them using a classic pidgin english manual. The MacBook name is on the outside? The Apple logo is silkscreened and sideways (on a giant ingot of milled aluminum)? And just what the heck is that bizarro thing on the “order info” shot supposed to be? Did they forget to pull all the packing material off it, or did someone steal the LCD before it ever shipped?

Really pitiful. And if that’s an actual design it’s even more pitiful.

    nice presentation though

The “MacBook” logo is slightly off center which leads me to believe this is just the MacBook Air casing with the “Air” part edited out.
