Remember Gameloft’s $80 Duo Gamer Controller? It was launched in October 2012 and it brought physical controls to our favorite Gameloft games on iOS — but it had a number of major flaws. The biggest one was that it was only compatible with Gameloft games, and that made its $80 price tag all the more bemusing.

But it’s not such a bad purchase at $6.36, which is all you’ll pay for it on Amazon right now.

If you’re a big fan of Gameloft games, then you might find the Duo Gamer’s new price tag a bit of a steal. It makes titles like Modern Combat, Real Football, and N.O.V.A. all the more enjoyable, and it means you don’t have to tackle virtual controls inside games that don’t really work well with them.

But bear in mind that it is only compatible with Gameloft titles — and only a select few of them. It’s also worth noting that when iOS 7 comes out this fall, it will bring with it baked-in support for physical controllers, which means we’ll see approved gamepads compatible with lots of titles — not just a select few from certain developers.

But still, $6.36 is great price for an accessory that originally sold for $80, and still has its uses. If you’ve been eyeing up the Duo Gamer, then, now’s a great time to get it. Just follow the source link below.
