I love my Wacom Bamboo Stylus; it’s by far the best stylus I’ve owned for the iPad. And although I wouldn’t exactly call it big, I wouldn’t want to carry it around in my pocket all day. Fortunately, Wacom has a new, smaller and super cute version of the Bamboo for that.

Called the Bamboo Stylus mini and measuring just 1.85 inches, it’s the perfect portable stylus for those on the go.

The Bamboo Stylus mini looks almost identical to its bigger brother, and it’s made from the same materials, so it’s just as solid and as accurate. It also has the same replaceable tips. The only difference is, it’s a great deal smaller.

“The Bamboo Stylus mini is for the most design discerning, who will also value the best feature yet: the Bamboo Stylus mini is extremely portable,” Wacom says. “It is a digital pen for on the move that can be used with a touch smartphone or tablet, without danger of it being lost.”

The Bamboo Stylus mini has a small strap and a dummy plug that allow you to plug it into the headphone jack on your iPhone or iPad when it’s not in use. This ensures it doesn’t get lost, and it means you always have the stylus within reach when you’re using your iOS device.

The Bamboo Stylus mini is available from Wacom’s website starting today, April 2, priced at $19. It’s available in five colors, including green, blue, pink, red, white, and black.
