Apple still hasn’t opened an official store in the Middle East, but its about to make a huge retail splash by building its largest store ever amid the futuristic skyscrapers of Dubai.
Job listings posted to Apple’s career’s site last week indicated that Apple is interested in pursuing retail operations inside the UAE, but according to EdgarDaily, the company isn’t looking to build just a regular store in Dubai.

“Our undisclosed source said that the store – which will be the biggest Apple has ever built – was originally planned to replace the current cinema complex. The timing of the recent job adverts suggest the store could have a planned opening for the first quarter of 2015.”

Tim Cook visited the UAE earlier this year where he was spotted meeting with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, and probably scouted locations for the grand store which will be located inside Dubai’s Maill of Emirates.

Apple hasn’t officially announced plans for the store, but the Jobs at Apple site still lists 16 new positions available in the UAE, including Geniuses, Specialists, Inventory Specialists, and Apple Store Leader Program.
