Apple Set to Update iWork for Lion: Auto Save, Resume & Full Screen Coming Soon

Iwork

Soon after OS X Lion hits the Mac App Store today, Apple will update its iWork ’09 productivity suit to introduce some of Lion’s awesome new features, including auto save, resume, full screen mode and versions.

The information comes from a source for 9to5 Mac, who has also provided a screenshot of the iWork update within Software Update. It seems there’s an update for Safari in there, too.

This is great news for users of iWork ’09, but for those anticipating the release of a whole new iWork suit alongside Lion, you may be waiting a little while longer.

I’m a little curious what the 3rd update is…has anyone noticed that 9to5 mac has their website name plastered over a 3rd update?  Maybe it’s nothing, but right now is certainly an ominous time to be hiding anything from anyone when we all anxiously await all of the software updates expected to come from cupertino’s servers today.

Obviously everyone has noticed that. Chances are it was done by the apple dev who tipped off 9to5mac. It can’t be a normal dev, because they don’t get these kind of updates.
