The Walgreens drugstore chain offers a nice bonus for new users of Apple’s credit card. Sign up for an Apple Card, spend $50 or more at Walgreens in the first 30 days, and get $50 in Daily Cash.

The Apple Card sign up page says: “Starting June 1, get $50 in Daily Cash when you get a new Apple Card and spend $50+ at Walgreens in your first 30 days of opening an account.” This deal is valid from Monday until June 30, 2020.

Daily Cash goes into the user’s Apple Cash account each day. It can be used to make other purchases, or transferred to the user’s bank account.

Signup bonuses for new customers of rival credit cards are common. It’s somewhat surprising that this seems to be the first one offered by Apple, which launched its card last autumn.

Multiple Apple and Walgreens collaborations

This bonus isn’t the only way Apple and Walgreens work together. From now until July 31, the drugstore offers 3% back in Daily Cash with Apple Card purchases made in the drive-thru.

And, because Walgreens is part of Apple Card’s reward program, America’s second largest pharmacy chain always offers 3% in Daily Cash on Apple Pay purchases.
