PUBG is one of several games that made the battle royale genre mainstream. It was once the most popular game on streaming platform Twitch — until Fortnite came along and stole its crown — and still boasts millions of players around the world.

In an effort to keep those players entertained and attract more, PUBG Mobile developer Tencent has teamed up with Mission: Impossible — Fallout.

Exclusive Mission: Impossible content incoming

PUBG players will get to enjoy Mission: Impossible background music, as well as themed parachutes and special rewards that they’ll be able to keep even after the crossover event has ended.

For now, the content will be available only in PUBG Mobile on Android and iOS, which alone now has more than 100 million players. There’s no word on whether the even will also grace Xbox or PC.

Crossovers hit battle royale

The crossover comes months after Fortnite teamed up with Avengers: Infinity War to deliver an Infinity Gauntlet game mode that allowed players to become Thanos.

Unlike the Mission: Impossible event, however, Fortnite’s did not offer unlockable rewards that players could hold onto once the event was over.

PUBG Mobile is free-to-play on Android and iOS. You can download it now from the App Store and Google Play.
