Apple Watch owners who complete February’s Activity challenge will be rewarded with exclusive iMessage stickers. The event, which runs from February 8 to February 14, celebrates American Heart Month.

Apple Watch owners are awarded virtual medals for completing various challenges. It’s part of Apple’s efforts to encourage users to stay active, and, of course, to keep using their Apple Watch. For February, there’s a chance to bag new iMessage stickers.

American Heart Month

To complete the challenge, you’ll need to close all of your Activity rings on Apple Watch for seven days. But not just any seven days — the seven days between February 8 and February 14, specifically. If you’re successful, you’ll get a heart-themed iMessage sticker pack.

The challenge celebrates American Heart Month, an annual event that reminds Americans to look after their hearts. It started in 1964, at a time when more than half of U.S. deaths were caused by heart disease, under President Lyndon B. Johnson.

Today, there’s an average of one death every 38 seconds — about 2,300 every single day — in America as a result of cardiovascular disease.

Get active!

February’s Apple Watch challenge is a great reason to get active, then. If you’re something of a couch potato, it might just be the kick you need to get yourself into shape.
