Apple has begun sending out emails to customers offering them personal online Apple Watch setup appointments so they can learn more about their new devices.
The sessions with Apple Specialists take the form of the kind of personal setup sessions Apple already offers in brick-and-mortar stores whenever a customer buys a new product.
According to an email, the video sessions will cover the Apple Watch and its features, plus specific app recommendations — likely tailored to customers depending on their expectations of the Apple Watch.
Interestingly, although the video sessions were originally rumored only to be offered to buyers of the high-end Apple Watch and Apple Watch Edition devices, Apple Watch Sport customers are also receiving the same message to schedule their video setup appointments.
