The official Call of Duty Elite app for iOS has today been updated to version 2.2.0, which adds a number of handy new features. Players can now compare their statistics with those of their friends, and track their progress during clan operations and challenges.

The update also makes improvements to the live streaming portal for Call of Duty: Black Ops II live stream videos. You can see the full release notes for this update below:

  • Track Players – Compare your Friends’ Call of Duty®: Black Ops II leaderboard stats with your own.
  • Competitions – Now track your progress during Clan Operations and Challenges.
  • Improved Live Stream Portal for Call of Duty®: Black Ops II Live Stream Videos.

Call of Duty Elite is the official companion app for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty: Black Ops II games for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It allows players to access all kinds of information about their game stats, including a career summary, which allows you to “analyze your progress over time to see which areas you need to improve in and which areas you excel in.”

Players can also use the app to visit their Clan HQ — if they are part of a clan, view stats on recent matches, and watch Call of Duty Elite TV on the go. One of its best features, however, is the ability to edit your custom classes on the go, which can then be pushed to your console so that they’re ready to go as soon as you sit down to play.
