Boom Junior Will Shake Shake Shake The Room

You probably don’t need the 10,000-watt iNuke Boom speaker for your iPhone, but you might just find a place in your home for the iNuke Boom Junior, a 1:23 scale model of Behringer’s basbehemoth.
It’s essentially a big black box with a dock up top, a few buttons and a remote control. Two two-inch tweeters, two three-inch mid-range speakers and a 5.25-inch subwoofer sit inside and probably shake the room quite adequately.
The Boom Junior (love that name, by the way. Then again, I’m a fan of calling the rumored iPad Mini the iPad Jr, so it might be best to ignore me) is available only from CostCo, for a reasonable $179. I’m avoiding any and every 30-pin dock connector accessory though, as I wait for my iPhone 5 to ship and the iPad Jr to be announced, but if you’re still (inexplicably) happy with that ugly, fat old piece of junk called the iPhone 4/S, then go for it. We won’t tell.
