Notefile, a popular note-taking app for iOS, developed by Junecloud, has made the leap to Mac. Priced at $4.99 in the Mac App Store, the app offers cross-platform sync between your Mac and iOS devices, high-resolution artwork for the Retina MacBook, and all the features you’ve been enjoying on iOS.

Once installed, Notefile is quickly accessible via your dock, or from your Mac’s menu bar, and you can get there even quicker by specifying your own keyboard shortcut. You can also use the keyboard to navigate your way around the app.

The app boasts a compact user interface that’s designed to stay out of your way while you’re hard at work, and it’ll be familiar to those of you who already use Notefile on iOS. All the notes you’ve made on your iOS devices will be available to you on your Mac, and vice versa, thanks to integrated Junecloud Sync.

If you’ve got the Retina MacBook Pro, you’ll be pleased to know Notefile is already Retina ready with high-resolution visuals that look fantastic.

Notefile is available in English, Japanese, French, and German, and requires OS X Lion or later.
