PlayForge, the developers behind the popular undead farming sim Zombie Farm, have confirmed that a sequel will make its App Store debut within the coming weeks, bringing plenty of “changes and upgrades.” It’ll also let you transfer all of the progress you’ve already made in Zombie Farm — including your stock of brains — so that you can pick up right where you left off.

Zombie Farm is the number one farming and number one zombie game for iOS, according to PlayForge. But it’s expected to lose those titles to its successor, Zombie Farm 2. If you’re unfamiliar with the release, it’s very familiar to games like FarmVille or Farm Story, only brains are your currency and you have the ability to grow zombies. Beats growing sunflowers, right?

Furthermore, you can also invade your enemies with your own team of homegrown zombies, play on friends’ zombie farms, and decorate your own farm with a large array of zombie-themed decorations. As you’ve probably guessed by now, this game is big on the zombie theme.

Zombie Farm 2 will reportedly bring unlimited storage expansions, a rebalanced “brain-economy,” and plenty of other features that are yet to be revealed. It’s expected to sprout up in the App Store within the next few weeks, so be sure to look out for it.
