so I'm AET from boxy and I'll show you
0:05
the boxy IAD app that is not available
0:08
yet on the App Store but you know we
0:10
really wanted to uh show it to people so
0:13
it's boxy for IP it's like a mini
0:15
version of boxy so you can see the stuff
0:17
that your friends are sharing with you
0:19
from Facebook or Twitter all those
0:21
videos and you can see the list of watch
0:24
later videos that you queued up for
0:27
yourself and you can browse through them
0:30
and if you come across something you
0:32
like you know you can play it on your
0:34
iPad obviously but you have this button
0:36
here that if you click it um it actually
0:39
it's going to play it on the TV like
0:42
airpl right so if you have boxy on a
0:45
boxy box or on a PC or a Mac so when one
0:48
click you can get to watch that video
0:50
that you just saw on your iPad on the TV
0:53
and you know boxy is famous for how it
0:56
handles local media so we couldn't
0:58
resist on the iPad as well and created
1:01
um a boxy media server that you can run
1:02
on PC or Mac and any video file format
1:06
that you have you can access all those
1:08
videos now on your iPad and what boxy
1:11
does it actually transcodes them on the
1:13
fly so when you click to watch something
1:16
boxy will transcode it to a format that
1:18
plays on the iPad and you can start
1:20
watching okay very cool and what's uh
1:23
what's supports ai divix ai divix mkvs
1:27
you know whatever you have there on your
1:29
uh hard drive it's going to play okay
1:31
cool and we hope to get it out by the
1:33
end of of this quarter we hope and here
1:36
play there it is yep how long what's the
1:39
latency the latency it's more of it
1:41
starts trans coating and then buffering
1:43
then it goes this is not you know this
1:45
is an old Mac Mini so it takes the time
1:47
and we have four Wi-Fi so the
1:49
combination is not great so it's going
1:52
to come out by the of the quarter we
1:54
hope and it's going to be free on yeah
1:57
free app cool very cool y all right
2:00
