The Apple Store currently has stock of 13 factory-refurbished, previous-generation unibody MacBook Pro notebooks, with prices starting at $929 for Core 2 Duo-based models. Combined with free shipping, that puts those models at or near lowest-we’ve-seen prices. Sales tax is added where applicable. All come with a 1-year Apple warranty, the same as new Macs. With free shipping, that’s one of the best discounts we’ve seen in recent weeks from this merchant. Plus, numerous items are at or near the lowest total price we could find. Coupon ends March 31. A best bet is the Aegis Case for Kindle 3 in Black (pictured) for $39.95 before the above coupon, $31.96 after. With free shipping, that’s $8 off and the lowest total price we could find.
Today only, SquareTrade offers its SquareTrade iPhone 2-Year Warranty for $99. Coupon code “EARLY” cuts it to $93.75. At $30 off, that’s one of the best deals we’ve seen for this service, although we saw it for $14 less in February (since expired). Unlike AppleCare, SquareTrade’s extended warranty also includes drop and spill protection. Have other items that need extended warranties? That’s tied with our December mention and the lowest total price we’ve seen for this model new since it hit $80 shipped back in July. (It’s also a current price low by $19.) This media player is network-ready, which allows for content streaming from sites such as YouTube, Flickr, Live 365, and Pandora via Ethernet. You can also plug in a USB drive and stream its content in 1080p via an HDMI output.
