Central Park is coming back with more musical adventures. Season three of the highly rated animated comedy will return to Apple TV+ in early September, and a trailer offering a glimpse at the upcoming fun premiered Wednesday.

The second season of Central Park scored an amazing 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Central Park was created and is written by Loren Bouchard, best known for the Fox series Bob’s Burgers, and the comedy is similarly offbeat. The main difference is the newer show has more musical numbers — and fewer burgers.

It’s about the Tillermans, who literally live in New York City’s Central Park — Owen Tillerman (played by Leslie Odom Jr.) is the manager. Making that more exciting is Bitsy (Stanley Tucci), an unscrupulous real estate developer trying to make the park into condos.

Season three will feature more than 40 new original songs, as Owen tries to promote the park, his wife Paige (Kathryn Hahn) finds herself busier than ever when she lands her first book deal, and Paige’s sister arrives hoping to be an actress.

In addition to Bouchard, the Emmy and NAACP Image Award-nominated series is written by Grammy winner Josh Gad (Frozen, The Book of Mormon) and Emmy winner Nora Smith (Bob’s Burgers).

Keep your eyes peeled

Season three of Central Park premieres September 9 on Apple TV+ with three new episodes. Thereafter, there’ll be a new one every Friday for the 13-episode season.

The first two seasons are now streaming on Apple TV+. The service is watchable on a wide variety of devices, including Roku and Amazon Fire, not just Mac, iPhone and iPad.
