A group of tech-loving outdoor enthusiasts created a line of four rugged Bluetooth speakers for Braven. They range from a high-end model capable of pumping music throughout any campground down to a speaker about the size of a soda can.

“The new speakers boast unmatched, rugged durability coupled with the premium Bluetooth audio for which Braven is known,” said Marika Patto, VP of Product, Productivity & Audio group for Zagg, Braven’s parent company. “We’re excited to provide our fellow outdoor enthusiasts with speakers that can finally keep up with the demands of their bold lifestyle.”

All the speakers have been tested in the Rocky Mountains, and can deliver crisp sound in wet, muddy or sandy conditions.

The three larger models come with a USB port to charge the phone that’s supplying their music.

BRV-XXL/2

Braven’s new top-of-the-line speaker is the BRV-XXL/2, which features four full-range HD drivers and a down-firing subwoofer. It totals out at 100W. Team Mode allows up to 100 of these speakers to work together.

The BRV-XXL/2 offers IPX5 waterproof rating, a handle and shoulderstrap, and 18 hours of playtime on a single charge, all for $399.99. It comes only in black.

BVR-XL

Just a bit smaller is the BVR-XL, which sports 40W of tweeters and full range drivers. It’s designed to survive drops from the back of a tailgate or down a hillside, and its IPX5 rating means it’s up for some wicked rain. It can last 18 hours without a recharge.

There’s a handle and a strap, and even a bottle opener. The price is $199.99, and the BVR-XL is available in black or grey.

BRV-X/2

Braven’s BRV-X/2 has an IPX7 rating so it can survive under 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes. Not that this is likely to happen because it can float.

This Bluetooth speaker supplies 20W of sound through full-range drivers, as well as an 18 hour battery life. It goes for $99.99 in black, gray, blue or red.

BRV-MINI

The BRV-MINI is this company’s smallest speaker ever. It can put out 5W of sound through a full-range driver, and offers 12 hours of playtime on a single charge.

It’s rated for IPX7, plus it floats. And there’s a lanyard. The BRV-MINI sells for $39.99 in black, gray, blue or red.

All of these speakers are available now.
