Some Apple fans who weren’t expecting to receive their iPhone X until late November are in for a treat. Many customers report that their iPhone X shipping delays are being greatly reduced, with some already on their way.

Meanwhile, one lucky customer got their hands on their preorder iPhone X today.

It took a matter of minutes for iPhone X shipping estimates to slip on preorder day. If you didn’t claim yours fast enough, you faced a delay of up to six weeks. But it seems Apple is obtaining more iPhone X units quicker than anticipated.

iPhone X on its way

Many customers who were given late-November delivery estimates are reporting that their orders have already shipped, while others are in the process of being dispatched.

“They’re shipping out the iPhone X early,” writes Princess Tiana on Twitter. “I wasn’t supposed to get my phone until after Nov. 10. I’ll receive it tomorrow.”

Apple “has moved up the delivery date of my #iPhoneX from Nov 16-24 to Nov 8,” adds David Andelman.

Others have posted screenshots from UPS showing that their iPhone X has shipped, despite being initially told by Apple they’d be waiting weeks. The improved times appear to apply to all models, in both silver and space gray color options.

One shows up early

One lucky customer in the U.K. managed to get their iPhone X today. They received a shipping notification from DPD and decided to try and collect it from the depot before it was sent out for delivery tomorrow.

Whoever dealt with the request at DPD obviously didn’t realize it was an iPhone X and allowed them to take it home early.
