OWC has today released new drivers that make its entire SSD lineup compatible with Boot Camp. That means you can finally run Windows on Macs that have OWC drives installed.

Until now, a number of OWC drives were incompatible with Boot Camp, so if you have replaced the SSD in your Mac with one of OWC’s options, installing Windows on a new partition would have been impossible. But not anymore.

Thanks to the company’s new “Dual Boot Enablers,” all OWC drives now play nicely with OS X’s built-in Boot Camp assistant. Simply visit the Software and Drivers page on the OWC website and download the right package for your drive.

Note there are different downloads for Accelsior E2, Accelsior S, and Aura drives, and you will need OS X 10.6.8 or later installed on your machine.

Once you’ve installed the Boot Camp Enabler, you can create a Windows partition using the Boot Camp assistant just like you normally would. It can be found in the Utilities folder under Applications, and it requires a Windows 7, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10 ISO.
