“Telecom Tycoon HD” Lets You Roll Out AT&T’s 3G Network For Them

Think you can do a better job running a 3G network than AT&T. Here’s your chance to prove it: Telecom Tycoon HD is a mobile broadband network sim for the iPad that allows you to roll-out a 2G, 3G and LTE network across a virtual city.

Telecom Tycoon HD is a game in the mould of Sim City in which you need to build out a telecom’s 3G service. You begin with an EDGE network and the goal of the game is to ultimately build-up and roll out a next-generation 4G network.

You start the game in the unlikely metropolis of Spokane, Washington and once you achieve a 4G network there, you can expand to larger markets… each of which has stiffer and stiffer wireless competition.

Sounds like this game should function more as a recruiting tool for Ma Bell than a casual game. You can download Telecom Tycoon HD for free from the App Store now.
