The Grand Theft Auto series is known for its violence; you’re usually cast as a thug or criminal of some sort, and set loose on a rampage across an open world landscape, able to steal cars, beat up civilians, and even gun down the cops.

Watch as these older folks do just that in Grand Theft Auto V, reacting to the crazy violence with fear, loathing, and a little bit of evil joy.

The reactions are pretty clear: all these folks get that the game is pretty damn violent and senseless. Some of them also find the fun in a lawless make believe, while a couple of others can’t handle it. It stresses one guy out.

While proponents of the game say the ultra-violent games are a satirical commentary on our own society, many opponents feel that the games glorify violence at the expense of our kids. That’s what one grandfather says in the video – he wouldn’t let his grandkids play it, but “for regular people, it’s probably ok.”

Which is it? We don’t know, but watching these older people play the game for the first time sure is entertaining.
