The iPhone 6c Could Be Just As Beautiful As The iPhone 6. Here’s Proof. [Gallery]

As rumors start to coalesce into likely fact that the iPhone 6 will come in two larger sizes — a 4.7-inch model and a 5.5-inch ‘iPhone Air’ — one big question that arises is what will happened to the iPhone 5c. Will Apple shelf their ‘budget’ iPhone, based upon poor sales? Or will they reinvent it when the iPhone 6s finally comes around?

Our favorite armchair iDevice designer Martin Hajek thinks the latter. He thinks that the iPhone c-series will live on, and in a stunning series of renders, he shows just how beautiful the iPhone 6c could be while still leaving room for the iPhone 6s to be the ‘luxury’ device with smaller bezels, TouchID and other perks.

More images after the jump. What do you think? Would you buy an iPhone 6c that looks like this?

    looks ugly

      I agree, it’s a terrible concept design.

I’ve already made plans for a possible 6C to be my next upgrade, providing it has the same specs as the “budget” version of an iPhone should. When the 5C came out I fell in love but I couldn’t bring myself to upgrade from my 5 just yet, considering it doesn’t come in a 64GB model (and I need local storage more than almost any other feature). Provided the 6C has a larger storage capacity, I’ll certainly be one of the first to snap it up.

    • Good thing you didn’t “upgrade” from a 5 to a 5c. Especially considering they have the same components, with the 5c just having a cheaper plastic case.

Apple needs to offer more/better color choices for the 5c/6c which is a big reason for the stunted sales. Offering only the pastel colors is baffling.

    • tornacious

I totally agree. Biggest problem? No black 5c.

    • davetan

The color choices are not IMHO the reason for the stunted sales. The reason is that the plastic 5C looks cheap, feels cheap and sounds cheap especially when compared with the specs, look and feel of the 5S. In some circles the “C” stands for cheap not color. In a world where all the competition makes things in cheap plastic Apple stands out with their beautiful aluminum creations. They should either make the C series in colored aluminum and/or make the price difference much greater. As far as the renderings, sorry but I think they are very ugly.

stop with all of this “concepts”.
all of them are ugly and not even close to reality, so stop making those nonsense rumors, they only ruin the surprise and sometimes (like the iphone 4s announcments) it damage the product.
so please with all of those “iphone 6 5.5″ with hologram keyboard progector on it’s back” (and shit like that).
this is getting really annoying to see all of those completly DUMB concepts (and some people actually believe this is the real thing) like an 6″ iphone, if you want a phablet than get another phone, stop spamming the internet with phablet concept.
noone knows what apple will announce but them, so just wait quietly.

Totally agree , Apple is not going to make any bigger phones s they already said that the size should be managble with one hand

  • yuk.

  • I don’t like it

  • Peter

    looks really ugly

  • monstermasten

A 6C should be 4″ or maybe even less. A “fun” phone can NOT be that big.

Leaving 6C with 4″ would justify making the 6S 4.7″, imo

  • roven roy

That thing looks like a stretched iPhone. Apple is not going to make a giant 5c. It will bite into the 6s’s sales.

  • Alex Burda

I do not like it. It looks like Apple copying Samsung. Jony Ive would never produce a design like this one…

Every game which will provides thrill it will be use full
    for kids.

I like the 6C better than even the 6S concept. I always liked the 5C design, but I prefer plastic over metal/glass anyway.
