The Apple Store is taking preorders for the Apple Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard Upgrade for $29 with free shipping, with delivery due on August 28. (Click on the Snow Leopard graphic to find it.) [That’s tied with several other merchants for the lowest total price we’ve seen, although Apple is the only one providing a shipping date.] Sales tax is added where applicable. This upgrade is only for Mac OS X Leopard users with an Intel processor.
The Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard Family Pack, which will upgrade up to three computers, is also available for $49 with free shipping. Or, get the updated Mac Box Set, with Snow Leopard, iLife ’09, and iWork ’09, for $169 with free shipping.
