Apple’s senior VP of retail, Angela Ahrendts, is set to take the stage at one of this year’s biggest business conferences hosted by Bloomberg later this month.
Ahrendts has been noticeably absent from the spotlight since leaving her spot as the CEO of Burberry back in 2013 to run Apple’s retail empire. Her mysterious elusiveness was even the topic of a recent New York Times article, questioning why the top exec many have pegged as a possible future replacement to Tim Cook hasn’t been seen much in public.
On November 9th Ahrendts will make her biggest solo appearance yet as an Apple employee at Bloomberg’s ‘The Year Ahead: 2016’ conference that tackles trends that will have a significant impact on the year ahead.
The conferences opens on Monday, November 9th at Carnegie Hall, featuring a diner and welcoming remarks from Michael R. Bloomberg. Other speakers will include CEOs from Bank of America, Credit Suisse, United Therapeutics, and Jet.com.
