Dong Nguyen took a leave of absence after he discovered that his hit game, Flappy Bird, was ruining peoples’ lives with its addictiveness. Now he’s back with with what looks to be an equally addictive and even more difficult game, Swing Copters.

The simple description reads, “Flying with a propeller hat is not as easy as it looks.” Based on a preview from a couple days ago, Swing Copters looks like essentially a vertical clone of Flappy Bird that’s just as repetitive and hard. The goal is to avoid the platforms and swinging hammers as you fly upwards by repeatedly tapping the screen.

After you get four medals, additional characters are unlocked. There’s a $0.99 in-app purchase to get rid of the ads that made Nguyen rich during Flappy Bird’s prime.

Nguyen allegedly has other games in the works, so don’t count on this being the last you see of the rockstar developer.
