Take a Look at How the iPhone’s Profile Has Evolved

Veteran iPhone case-maker Incase sent us this image of all four iPhone forms in profile — each covered by a version of their Slider cases, which, as Incase says, has been available since the introduction of the iPhone in 2007. We thought we’d share it; simple, yet fascinating, isn’t it. The pace of change has slowed somewhat of late. At least, cosmetically anyway.

Oh, right — the Slider; you can pre-order your $35 iPhone 5 Slider case now, and Incase will ship one to you when they become available in October.

These are iPhones in cases, stupid title.

  • Whodakat

I cringe when I thinking of wrapping my beautiful iPhone in a case.

Shut your whore mouth and actually read the article, you mind-numbingly stupid fool.

You make the trolls on AppleInsider look like frigging geniuses.

I was referring to the TITLE of the article, not the CONTENT. Dumbass iSheep, as blind as the others I see.

@Tallest_Skil – just another wannabe hipster who owns an iShiny toy for social status. Shameful. Tasteless. Ignorant. Just like the other Apple fanboys.

That’s the point being made. Sorry you don’t understand ‘context’.

You’re so ignorant and clueless it’s no wonder folks outside the iWorld hate people like you.

  • ddevito

Sixth year of the iPhone and not much has changed, clear to see Apple is resting on its laurels – which will be its ultimate demise.

  • ddevito

I cringe when I thinking of wrapping my beautiful iPhone in a case.

It’s all about social status isn’t it? You can’t bear having the latest precious iToy without someone KNOWING it’s an iPhone. Fanboy at its worst. Typical iSheep

Hate? It’s just a friggin phone, dude. It seems people outise the iWorld (or maybe just you) need to get a life and worry about more important things. Jesus. Hate? What the hell is wrong with you?

  • Daibidh

Errr…. I agree with SupaMac. What’s all this angst over a handful of tech? iSheep? Whore mouth? You realize you’re both getting worked up over an appliance, right? And I thought arguing over politics and religion were pointless! YIKES! I may refer to my phone as the “iPrecious” but at least I know it’s a joke! You extremist zealots scare me. What’s next? Revolution over laundry detergent?!

  • ChadGleaves

I choose to have a iphone because it makes my life better. The other reason is that, just like in sports where I choose the Oklahoma City thunder I have chosen team iPhone, and I root for them and I cheer for them but what I don’t understand is the amount of hate that is being shown here. You guys would never be invited to my house for a game!!! Come on and have some fun! Team android has scored some major points lately but im still rooting for team iphone! No one is less of a person because of a freakin phone are they?

  • Lago1963

    >>>>>>Loud+boisterous+unrefined=a fandroid<<<<<
Seems they all have nothing to do but search out apple related articles and antagonize.

  • Allan Cook

I wonder if Incase will design its slider to accommodate phones with screen protection this time. The slider for the iPhone 4 would bubble up the film when you tried to put it on.

  • SupaMac

This image isn’t real. The i5′s metal band isn’t the same color as the i4.

  • voloder

What I don’t understand about ddevito is why he has 770 posts here? Makes me think he is hiding something about his feelings for Apple…Either that or he doesn’t have a life. Probably both.

  • Lane Jasper

Why people argue about this stuff is beyond me. It’s a GADGET…everyone will have their own preference. There is no “better than yours” here, it’s all preference and different strokes for different folks. I have a Galaxy S3, so what. It’s my phone of choice, I had an iPhone 4S and LOVED it because it’s a great gadget. I have a MAc Pro, I also have a Lenovo Laptop for work…so what? They are simply tools of my trade and what work for me. Your “tech” should be simply for you to use and enjoy, there is no BEST and it’s certainy nothing to argue over.

  • Lucasapplegeek

Why does everybody feel like they need to wrap the iPhone in a case. The iPhone is such a beautiful piece of design and innovation.

just as Joshua replied I’m in shock that some one can earn $9776 in 1 month on the internet. have you read this website (Click on menu Home more information) http://goo.gl/wpnux
