and in this one I am going to show you how to share passwords with AirDrop in iOS 12
0:12
So if you need to share your Netflix password with someone to watch videos on their iPad or just your password for another service, this will be super useful

Let's throw 60 seconds on the clock and get started. To share a password in iOS 12, head into the settings app and go to passwords and accounts
0:28
Then tap on website and app passwords. Your iOS device will then ask you to authenticate with either Touch ID or Face ID
0:35
Once done, you'll then see a list of your saved passwords. If you've got hundreds of saved passwords, you can use the search bar at the top to find
0:42
the one you're looking for and tap to reveal. Then tap on the password field again and choose AirDrop from the pop up bubble
0:49
Then a standard AirDrop box will pop up and you'll be prompted to share
0:54
When you receive a password via AirDrop, you'll see this. If you don't already have the password, i.e. if you're not sending it to yourself to film

this feature, then you can just save it to your keychain. It's as simple as that, now you can even share passwords securely when you're out and about
1:09
without any WiFi or cellular access. Although I'm not sure why you'd need to share a password in that situation
