It's Joshua Smith from Kultimac.com. Now while the iPhone 6 has definitely impressed me in the last few weeks I've used it, it's
0:13
also let me down in a few areas. So if you're on the fence about the iPhone 6, here's my top six iPhone 6 disappointments
0:24
Number one, it's just flat out slippery. Now while the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus feature these new smooth rounded aluminum bodies
0:31
without a case they just slip right out of your hand. Yes, it's thinner and yes, it's rounder, but all the more to fall from your grip
0:38
And actually that leads me to my second disappointment. The vibration in these phones is just a little too powerful
0:44
Take a look back at my buddy Steve's video. Let's say you leave your iPhone 6 on a table and walk away, if it keeps vibrating and vibrating
0:51
when you return you're going to find it on the floor. That's just a little too strong
0:56
Number three, NFC support. Now of course I'm excited for Apple Pay, but the limitation of just this software is kind
1:03
of ridiculous. If Apple would open this technology up to developers instead of having to make us wait
1:08
for say iOS 9, that would make having this technology right now ten times better
1:15
Disappointment number four, HealthKit. Now when I first heard about these new health features and the health app and everything
1:20
I was pretty excited. But once it came out, well, not so much
1:25
It didn't work like it was supposed to straight out the gate and I just wish there was more
1:29
unique integration between the 6 and health app, but there's just not
1:34
Alright, disappointment number five, the protruding camera lens. Don't get me wrong, I love the design of the iPhone 6 apart from how slippery it is
1:42
It's beautiful, it's smooth, but once you get up to the camera, it's just a little awkward
1:46
seeing it poke out. I wish Apple would have kept it flush like the previous models
1:51
With the case on every day, you don't notice it as much, but I mean, it's still just not
1:55
my preference. And last but not least, my final iPhone 6 disappointment is the placement of the power button
2:02
Now on the iPhone 6, the power button moves from the top of the phone to the right side
2:06
And when using the phone one-handed, you'll find yourself pushing the volume button at
2:09
the same time, which can get really annoying. Leander of Kultimag also stated the same issue in his official iPhone 6 review
2:16
And hopefully we'll slightly see them fix this in the future. We'll just have to wait and see
2:22
Well there you have it. Thanks for watching. There's my top iPhone 6 disappointments
