MacBook Pro Setup
It took three years to assemble this rig.

It took web designer Carlos Azaustre a span of three years to piece together his setup. Everything was carefully chosen.

To start off, the Madrid-based front-end engineer has the Samsung 34-inch UltraWide Monitor. He previously had a 24-inch FullHD Monitor but after a few years of wear-and-tear he decided it was time to make a change. So he splurged and went with the Samsung UltraWide. He runs his rig off of a 13-inch 2013 MacBook Pro which sits upon an AmazonBasics Laptop Desk Stand.

He has a Logitech MX Master 2s, the slightly older cousin of the MX Master 3. (They’re practically the same mouse, except the MX Master 3 is a little more ergonomic and its side wheel is easier to scroll.) He also uses an Apple Magic Keyboard, one of the nicest keyboards on the market.

For video calls and shooting videos Azaustre uses a Logitech C960 HD Webcam which has a cool 90-degree view. It is held up by a 25-inch Webcam Gooseneck Stand. He also has the now-discontinued Rode NT-USB USB Microphone. The Mini version is still available and it is great for podcasts and livestreams.

For audio, Azaustre completely forwent any exterior speakers and instead uses the built-in speakers from his UltraWide monitor, or a pair of noise-canceling Bose 700s, a brilliant pair of cans. He stows them on a Neetto Headphone Hanger Holder which he placed above his desk.

To round things out, he has an Aukey USB Hub 3.0, giving him four additional USB ports. And a Seagate Expansion Portable External Hard Drive gives him an additional 2TB of storage.
