Sky: Children of the Light, the much-anticipated game from the makers of Journey, has been delayed.

You’ll have to wait another week for the title to hit the App Store — but you can preorder it right away. Developer thatgamecompany wants a little more time to “better align our global marketing efforts.”

We’ve been waiting a long time for Sky, which was first announced way back in 2017. So a week-long delay doesn’t seem too bad in reality. And it looks like the game will be well worth the wait.

Sky is described as “romantic adventure game” that lets you explore a stunning fantasy world. It features seven realms to explore and countless puzzles to solve, and it will feature seasonal events and expansions over time.

Sky was initially scheduled for release on July 11 — but not anymore.

Sky: Children of the Light launches July 18

The game will now hit the App Store on July 18. It will be compatible with iPhone and iPad first, and will later come to Apple TV. Sky has also been promised for Android, Mac and PC, and consoles later on.

If you’re interested in playing the game (who isn’t?) you can preorder it on the App Store today. It will be free to download, but with in-app purchases that haven’t been detailed yet.

While you’re waiting for Sky’s release, check out the above trailer for the game, which was released during E3 2019 earlier this month. It’s beautiful, and it’ll make you incredibly excited if you aren’t already.
