Instagram is today rolling out new updates on Android and iOS that bring an updated design, new features, and five new filters that Instagram says are its best yet. Inspired by the global community, the new filter set is the first Instagram has added in two years, and it’s designed to compliment the capabilities of modern smartphone cameras.

The new filters are called Slumber, Crema, Ludwig, Aden, and Perpetua, and they “soften and subtly shift colors to achieve the look and feel you want for your each photo,” Instagram says. To make them easier to find, and to help you find your favorite filters quicker, the new update also changes the way in which filters are displayed.

When you’re ready to apply a filter, you’ll now see blurred previews of your image with the various filters applied down in the filter tray — helping you to quickly decide which one looks best. If you use certain filters more than others, you can now use the “Manage” button to rearrange the filter tray and place your favorites at the front, and hide the ones you never use.

Today’s update also adds support for slow-motion video, and real-time comments. You can download the release now via the App Store on iOS, or Google Play on Android.
