The eye candy polka dot exterior and roomy silky satin interior has it sewn up and in the bag, while two sturdy brown leather straps allow the bag to be hugged under your arm as you swish from one appointment to the next. It’s also good for holding at your side in your hand as you stroll down the High Street.
The straps are very well padded for comfort whether you are holding the bag in your hand or on your shoulder; even when well packed with substantial weight the bag does not cut into your shoulder as you might expect.
There is a feel of quality from the straps to the heavy-duty zippers, which open almost all the way around allowing the bag to open flat out for easy access.
The leather bottom with stylish studs protects the base of the bag from wear and tear. There is one exterior side pocket which spans the width of the bag and like every exterior pocket, it is invaluable for those little extras you need to carry; however you might expect to be digging for some loose diamonds rather than your phone with the luxurious silky satin, pink lining.
The laptop side of the bag is padded and has two elasticized straps to hold your notebook in place. However, the straps feel a little too loose and flimsy. When you zip the bag up it doesn’t feel like your laptop is very secure inside.
On the inner ‘lid’ side, which is very lightly padded, there are two compartments; one zippered and one open slit compartment, which has convenient dividers for pens, phones and smaller items.
While I am concerned that the inner lining could quickly become grubby and lose its luster, I have fallen hard for this sexy and beautiful bag – in my dreams – in reality though I am much more likely to go for the more sober and sensible laptop bag and just take this one out for a spin on Sundays!
The satin adaptor bag is a nice touch and pushes your femininity button further still – no, this bag is not a guy bag, not even the metrosexual would feel comfortable touting this around town.
