Apple Watch owners can now automatically unlock their Macs with their wearables without the

use of any lengthy passwords. So here's how to set it up

First off, ensure that two-factor authentication is enabled. To do this, open up the system preferences on your Mac, then click on iCloud and go to

account details. Next select security and enable two-factor authentication. As the second step, you'll need to ensure that you have a passcode on your Apple Watch

To do this, go into the Apple Watch app, then go to My Watch and turn passcode on

You'll then be asked to enter a four-digit passcode. Now go back to your system preferences on your Mac and click security and privacy

Once there, make sure to disable automatic login is unchecked. If the option is greyed out, you might need to click on the padlock icon at the bottom

of the window to make the necessary changes. After that, make sure the allow your Apple Watch to unlock your Mac box is checked
