Music lovers, pay attention: your festivals will be digitized. UK cell phone network Orange has just announced an mobile app (for all platforms, not just iOS) for this year’s Glastonbury Festival at Worthy Farm in Somerset, UK.

Glastonbury is the biggest, best-known, and most beloved festival in the UK. Last year there were 177,500 people there. Yeah, pretty big.

The app has a schedule of all bands playing on all stages. You can plan your viewing in advance, check a map to find your way around the enormous site, and generally get organized. Here’s a promo vid:

Worried about your iPhone running out of juice before the day is out? Orange have thought of that, and will have three re-charging tents at this year’s festival. Just be careful not to drop your phone in the mud.

You can grab the app from here.

Of course, you could try leaving your phone at home and just throwing yourself into the experience, forgetting the world of email and SMS and scheduling and planning for a few days and just enjoying the music. Just a thought.
