Apple’s rollout of the iPhone 5s and 5c continues. After launching on September 20 with limited supplies in 11 countries, Cupertino is now expanding availability to 11 new countries.
The iPhone 5s and 5c will be launching today in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, French West Indies, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Reunion Island, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan and Thailand.
But that’s not the end of the fun. By next Friday, Apple will be lauching in another 16 countries: Albania, Armenia, Bahrain, Colombia, El Salvador, Guam, Guatemala, India, Macedonia, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.
It’s still not the most aggressive roll-out. Supplies are tight. Consider the fact that many of the countries listed above had access to the iPhone 5 last year by the end of September, and it’s clear that the iPhone 5s launch is slower comparatively. But hey, at least most of the world’s wait is (mostly) at an end.
