As we draw closer to the general release of iOS 10 this fall, the developer betas are
0:05
coming in thick and fast. Well Apple's just dropped beta 5 of iOS 10, so here's a quick look at what's new
0:12
Firstly, as always, there's some bug fixes in there, including a fix for the smart battery
0:17
case which wasn't playing nicely in previous betas. The lock sound has been switched out for a new one, which is still a little strange
0:24
but a lot better than the previous lock sound which came with beta 3
0:28
There's a new output icon within the control centre, apple music app and throughout, replacing
0:33
the headphone icon with a new airplay radar type thing. Third party widgets now have a darker background to distinguish them from apple's native widgets
0:41
And finally, all facial recognition data is reset as apple plans to reprocess the facial recognition
0:48
Also I've seen some people reporting on twitter that you no longer have to enter your apple
0:51
id password when downloading apps after rebooting, although this didn't work for me
0:57
Well that's what's new in iOS 10 beta 5, but don't forget to hit subscribe to stay
