and I wanted to make sure that it worked and it is working full flawlessly now so there is a glue um strip that you can

buy on Amazon and probably eBay that allows you to readhere the screen to the phone but the problem is is that because

the backing was damaged it's not going to be a perfect uh I don't know glue job

because the backing is what adheres to the actual phone itself and so some of my backing is missing it'll still work

but you know what that's the thing like I'm not going to take it near water anymore and I heard that once you repair

the the screen on an iPhone it's no longer ip68 rated so even if I took it to like

a professional place and they did it it's basically never going to be waterproof again once you replace the screen unless Apple does it which I hate

to say this is a reason Apple probably makes you trade it in so they can professionally repair it and restore the
