Hey what's up guys Stephen Colt of Mac here and while personally I'm not a huge
0:05
Pokemon fan I know that everybody is currently raving about the Pokemon Go
0:09
app which is available in the United States and now Germany but a lot of
0:13
people are still waiting for the chance to play this game so in this video I'm
0:17
going to show you how to download Pokemon Go no matter where you live so
0:21
let's get started. Open iTunes on your Mac or PC and head into the App Store
0:27
log out of your existing account if you're already signed into one by clicking account in the menu bar then choosing sign out. Then scroll down to
0:34
the bottom of the App Store's featured page and click change country. Choose
0:38
United States then wait for the App Store to reload. Find Pokemon Go then
0:43
click the get button and create a new Apple ID. Agree to Apple's terms and
0:48
conditions then continue to fill the form in to create your new Apple ID. When
0:52
prompted for your payment details make sure to select none. If you don't see this option make sure to go back to the App Store and start again as you must
0:59
attempt to download an app first. Apple now requires a billing address even if
1:03
you're not adding a payment method. We don't recommend using a random address so if you have a friend or relative in the US ask permission to use theirs or
1:10
you can even use the Cult of Mac office. Once signed up verify your new Apple ID
1:14
by clicking the link in the verification email then signing into your new account
1:18
Grab your iOS device and open up the App Store. Scroll down to the bottom of the
1:23
featured page. Tap your existing Apple ID then choose sign out. Sign in again
1:28
using the new US account you just created then download Pokemon Go
1:35
Congratulations you now have early access to Pokemon Go outside of the US. On a
1:40
side note you will need to sign into your US account every time you need to download a Pokemon Go update but that shouldn't be too much trouble. You can
1:47
always delete the app and download it again from your local App Store when it's available in your country. Now that you have a US iTunes account you'll be able
1:54
to access other apps and games that roll out in the US first. You'll also be able
1:58
to download movies, music, TV shows and any other content from the US iTunes
2:02
Store by adding US vouchers to your account. Well that's it for this video but let me
2:07
know in the comment section down below which countries you guys have been able to download Pokemon Go in before the official release. If you found this video
2:14
useful go ahead and smash that like button down below and don't forget to
2:18
hit subscribe so you don't miss a single video from Cult of Mac. I'll catch you in the next one
