iPhones are expensive and leaving your brand new shiny iPhone without a case on is like
0:06
driving a car without insurance. Okay, so they don't always look as nice with a case on, but you'll be sure to regret it
0:12
once you start to see scratches appear on that pristine handset or even worse, you drop it
0:18
So in this video, I'm going to show you my personal top 5 cases for the iPhone 6 and
0:22
6 Plus. So let's get started. I'm going to start with my favourite protective case for the iPhone 6, the Griffin Survivor Core
0:30
Griffin have always been known for high quality Apple related products and the Survivor Core
0:34
case is no different. It features a dual material construction consisting of this durable feel rubber which has a really
0:40
nice carbon fibre-esque texture when you're holding it, with extruded corners around the
0:44
device to protect it from impacts of up to a claimed 2m, but I've not got the money or
0:49
the heart to test that out. And on the back, the case is completely clear so you can still see the iPhone's beauty shining through
0:56
The cutouts on the case are great, giving you plenty of room to plug in your headphones or lightning cable and get to your mute switch
1:02
The only downside I have to this case is that it doesn't come with a screen protector, so
1:06
make sure you don't put your phone in your pocket with your keys. Next up is something a little bit more minimal
1:11
If you love the design of your iPhone and you're careful enough not to have full protection
1:15
the Wallet case is ideal as the only part it covers is the rear of your iPhone
1:19
And on top of that, it's also a wallet. There's one less thing you need to carry around, so you can concentrate on looking after your iPhone
1:25
The Wallet allows you to carry up to 4 items such as 2 credit cards, an ID card and some cash
1:31
Which is all I ever really need. There's 2 versions, one that sticks to your case or this one which already has a case attached
1:38
Which I much more prefer as I like to switch up cases every now and then and being able
1:42
to remove it easily is very important to me. I personally love wallet cases as I'm constantly leaving my wallet at home, but never my phone
1:50
so this makes perfect sense. Jison isn't a name I was familiar with until I came across them accidentally, but they
1:56
offer a luxurious solution for protecting your phone. I love how this case feels in the hand as it feels really expensive
2:03
And because of the way it's moulded around the iPhone, it's also very thin. It's got a really nice metal lock button on the side to compliment their logo on the front
2:11
It covers all the corners in case you accidentally drop it and also has a nice standing feature
2:15
which actually works. For $30, it's an awesome price. I personally use my iPhone 6 Plus every day and there's not many cases that keep the huge
2:22
phone both safe and thin. While Griffin is back to save the date with their Identity series
2:27
They also have the same for the iPhone 6 and it has a 2 layer impact resistant frame which
2:32
makes it a lot easier to get the case on and off. And it will protect the phone from a 4 foot drop onto concrete
2:38
As it's completely clear, you can still see all of your beautiful iPhone and protect all
2:42
but the front safe from scratches and dents. Then it would be nice if they included a screen protector
2:48
And my final case is definitely the one I use most and it's straight from Apple
2:53
They're made from premium leather, the phone fits very snugly into the case and feels almost
2:57
as slim as it is without the case. It's also got this nice microfiber lining inside to help protect the phone but more
3:03
importantly it makes sure you don't scratch the handset when inserting or removing
3:06
Plus, they're made to age and take knocks. I've had this case on almost every day since the 6 Plus was released and it's still standing
3:13
the test of time. I tend to get bored with most cases after a couple of days but this definitely isn't
3:18
one of them. So there you have it, my personal top 5 iPhone 6 and 6 Plus cases
