The product and general idea is great. there is only one short coming. If the actual magnetic part could be rotated 180/360 degree the product would become so much more practical. In its current configuration is pretty much only supports the continuity function.

iPhone Mount Works Great
The iPhone mount works well with my BenQ display. I was excited to get this product because in the past I needed to rely on my MacBook Pro camera for remote meetings. Because I use a larger monitor (BenQ) as my main display, I was forced to look to the side for meetings. Now I can use the iPhone mount and it works well.
The build is very sturdy and substantial and I am confident it will last a long time. Would definitely recommend this product to family and friends.

Allows for easy change of phone into online camer
Purchased the MagSafe for Mac Desktops and Displays to make it easy to use my iPhone as my camera. It does exactly what I wanted it to do! Easily mounted onto my display monitors and adjusted up and down to capture the area I wanted seen on camera. The only downside is this thing is really big and heavy. While I know it needs to be sturdy enough to hold the phone, it is a bit like a brick. It suits my needs though I hope the engineering can figure out how to make it a bit less bulky and heavy in the future

Do I need a MagSafe cover? My uncovered iPhone 11 slides off as if the magnet wasn't strong enough to hold it.
Hi. The mount is designed to work with MagSafe-capable phones (iPhone 12 and later models), and MagSafe-approved cases. It is not designed to work with iPhone 11 models.

Will this work as a Continuity Camera stand for Apple TV 4K. when TVOS 17 is released in the fall. Don't want to have to purchase another stand, just one for everything.

Is there supposed to be a tone made after the mount successfully attaches to the phone? I'm having trouble with intermittent camera connections. I thought I heard the tone once after which the camera connected (verified using FT) but it's not always.
