Agents and producers have complained about how “difficult” Apple is to work with, according to a new report. The company’s “nitpicking” has led to delays that mean only a handful of shows will be available when its new streaming service launches.
Apple is expanding its “There’s More to iPhone” marketing campaign to more countries in Europe after launching it last year in Germany.
New pages have been created on Apple’s websites for France and the United Kingdom detailing how the iPhone is “more than the device in your hand.” Security, recycling and privacy are some of the topics covered by little blurbs that tout the iPhone’s superiority. After messing around with the amazing Hyperspektiv app earlier this week, I thought it would be a great way to make music videos. Hyperspektiv glitches your videos and Live Photos, giving them incredible special effects. All you need to do is arrange the resulting clips, and add music.
You can do this in any video-editing app on your iPhone or iPad — iMovie for instance. But that requires lot of manual work to get the music synced up with the video clips. After a little searching, I found Quik, a video app from GoPro. It’s not ideal — it likes to upload your videos to its servers with little warning — but it also has one essential feature: Quik analyses any music you add, and automatically syncs the video clips to the beat.
Depth Control is one of the best features on the new iPhones, but Apple shows that you might want to be careful about who you choose to use it on.
Apple just drop a hilarious new ad highlighting the new the feature that lets you adjust the amount of blur in a Portrait Mode photo. The funny 30-second ad shows two moms who start beefing with each other when one of them notices their child has been bokeh’d.

Apple is back with some new Memoji ads just in time for the 2019 Grammy awards.
Just like last year’s ads, the Memoji videos features some of the biggest names in music that have been morphed into singing Memoji. Ariana Grande, Khalid and Florida Georgia Line lend their talents in three new one-minute ads that pack some infectious fun vibes.

Today at Apple first started at Apple store in 2017, providing 18,000 free sessions a week that have been attended by millions of people around the world. With the new sessions, Apple is expanding on its most popular sessions, giving participants more opportunities to create and explore with their products.
Apple is pulling out a Matrix-move for its new iPhone XR ad that features some of the wildest videography the company has ever put out.
Using a bullet time video rig mounted with 32 iPhone XRs, Apple showcases the low-light shooting powers of the iPhone XR. And boy is it mesmerizing.

Apple revealed some of the tricks it used on the iPad Pro to create its latest slate of how-to videos that were published earlier this month.
Not only did Apple film all the videos on the new iPad Pro, it also edited, animated and composed music for the ads that showed viewers how to perform tasks that used to require a PC to pull off.

Apple has shared a special video to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
The heartfelt short film, directed by Jia Zhangke, is titled “The Bucket,” and it’s about remembering loved ones when away from home. Apple has also published another two videos in which Zhangke showcases Depth Control and Slo-mo on the iPhone XS.

Concept designer Antonio De Rosa has come out with a new spoof iPhone ad that shows how Apple could easily remove the notch by adding a slide out camera to the top of the iPhone. Xiaomi actually implemented the idea on its latest flagship phone, but after watching this video, you might start jonesing for Apple to do the same.
Popular open-source video player VLC is getting AirPlay support “in about a month.” VideoLan, the team behind it, also plans to make it easier for users to switch to VLC from iTunes.
The confirmation comes just as VLC celebrated a staggering 3 billion downloads — around a quarter of which came from mobile devices.
Iina is a brand-new video-playing app for the Mac. Like VLC, it can play pretty much any file, and has deep customization options, even in v1.0. Unlike VLC, it feels like a real Mac-first app, and has support for trackpad gestures and bowser extensions right out of the box.
The overall UI of iOS hasn’t changed too much since iOS 7 got rid of skeuomorphism, but an ex-Apple employee has come up with a brilliant UI concept that makes elements on your iPhone look like real-life objects.
Former Apple software engineer Bob Burrough posted a video of an environmentally-lit user interface he’s developing and even though it’s still very basic, it looks very promising. By using the iPhone’s front-facing camera, the iPhone’s UI shades objects based on the lighting in a room. It may not sound that exciting, but once you see it in action you’ll be wowed.

iPhone fans are already chomping at the bit for a redesigned model less than three months after the iPhone XS and XS Max made their debut.
A new concept design for the iPhone XI made its way to YouTube today imagining some big changes that could come to Apple’s flagship device in 2019. Chief among the new features is a three lens camera array accompanied by some design tweaks inspired by the new iPad Pro.

The iPhone XS Max is still the fastest new smartphone on the market, based on the latest speed test that pits Huawei’s flagship Mate 20 Pro against Apple’s most expensive iPhone.
PhoneBuff pitted the Mate 20 Pro against the iPhone XS Max in its speed test which measures which phone can open a select number of apps the fastest and then open them again a second time. So far the iPhone XS Max has stomped its Android competitors in every test. While the Mate 20 Pro puts up a good fight, it ultimately lost, making the iPhone XS Max the undisputed speed king of smartphones in 2018.
