iOS 10 jailbreak team makes key breakthrough

With every iOS update, Apple makes it harder for hackers to jailbreak its software — but it seems there’s still plenty of work to be done.

At the Mobile Security Conference (MOSEC) in Shanghai today, Chinese jailbreak team Pangu revealed it already has Cydia running under iOS 10.

Members of Apple’s public beta testing program can now get their hands on all the new software updates Apple dropped on developers yesterday.

New betas for iOS, tvOS, watchOS and OS X have been seeded to the public, bringing a bunch of bug fixes for every Apple platform, as well as some new features on iPhone.

Developers received a fresh batch of new beta software from Apple this morning for pretty much every device Apple makes.

The first betas for iOS 9.3.2, watchOS 2.2.1, tvOS 9.2.1 and OS X 10.11.5 were all seeded to developers today, bringing a host of new bug fixes and tiny features to the Mac, Apple Watch, iPhone, and Apple TV.
