North Carolina and Northern Virginia have risen as two likely candidates for Apple’s third headquarters.

The new location of the new Apple HQ is supposed to be revealed by the end of 2018. According to a new report, one of the spots Apple is looking at is in the same area that Amazon is eying too.

Tim Cook will give the commencement address for Duke University’s graduating class this Sunday, May 13. Cook graduated from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business with an MBA in 1988.

“I’m honored to be returning to Duke this weekend to help celebrate the Class of 2018,” Cook told Duke University’s Chronicle newspaper this week. “I graduated from Fuqua 30 years ago, and the friends and memories I made at Duke are among the most treasured of my life.”

Tim Cook will give the commencement address for Duke University’s graduating class on May 13, 2018.

Cook is a 1988 MBA graduate of Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, as well as a member of the university’s Board of Trustees. Cook has previously given successful, inspirational and funny commencement addresses at MIT, Auburn University (which he attended before Duke), and George Washington University.

Siri typically works pretty well when you’re just sitting around at home — or at least, it can usually hear you just fine. Whether or not you get the results you need is another question, but a prototype device created by engineers at Duke University could one day help Apple’s digital assistant understand you just as well if you’re in a crowded room or a car.

It’ll just have to get a little smaller first.

Tim Cook has been appointed to a six-year term at the Duke University Board of Trustees, the school announced today. Cook joins alongside Coca-Cola Foundation Chairwoman Lisa Borders, PRM Advisors founder Patricia Morton, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and ValueAct Capital CEO Jeff Ubben.
