A batch of newly released files is shedding some light on the relationship between Apple co-founder Steve Jobs and former U.S. President Bill Clinton.

Jobs and Clinton were known to be buddies for years, but details of their relationship have been scarce. Now a set of documents from the Clinton Presidential Library has revealed some of the letters the two exchanged. In one note, Steve Jobs even goes so far as to make some cabinet post recommendations to Clinton. the two.

Coffee With Tim Cook Auction Reaches $295,000, Breaks Charitybuzz Record [Updated]

UPDATE: Bidding just reached $505,000!

Earlier this week we wrote about a Charitybuzz auction that will get you coffee with Apple CEO Tim Cook at the company’s headquarters in Cupertino, California. At the time, the auction had reached $5,250, but its estimated value was just under ten times that amount at $50,000.

Just a few days later, the auction has received 68 bids and reached a whopping $295,000 with 18 days still to go. It’s now Charitybuzz’s biggest ever auction.

Former President Bill Clinton signed an iPod Nano 8G, put 10 of his favorite songs on a playlist and now it’s being auctioned off for the Gibson Foundation for Music Rising.

The sax-playing 42nd President put a few interesting choices on his playlist:
