iOS 11.4.1 and macOS 10.13.6 are nearly ready for release

There are fresh beta versions of iOS and macOS. But they probably aren't the ones you're waiting for.

The wait is nearing the end for the next iPhone and Mac operating systems. However, these aren’t the big upgrades announced last month. Instead, iOS 11.4.1 and macOS 10.13.6 will fix bugs in the current versions.

Apple just released the fifth beta version of each of these. The full release can’t be far behind.

Just like clockwork, two weeks after the release of iOS 11 beta 4, Apple has graced developers with iOS 11 beta 5. As per usual, we went straight ahead and installed it to dig around and see what’s new. Among our finds were new camera settings and a pretty cool feature for FaceTime.

iOS 5 Beta 6 Could Land Next Thursday

Developers are now enjoying the fifth beta of Apple’s next major iOS release, but just like everything created at the Cupertino camp, we never know when an update is about to drop. Unless, of course, you go digging around in iOS files… which seemingly reveals the release date of iOS 5 beta 6.
