The first pre-release versions of updates for all Apple computers include significant new features. iCloud folder sharing makes its delayed debut. And the ability to buy the iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and tvOS versions of third-party software as a single purchase is coming too.

These features appear in the initial developer betas of iOS 13.4, macOS 10.15.4, iPadOS 13.4, tvOS 13.4 and watchOS 6.2.

Tim Cook wants Apple to be a force for good in the world. To help with this mission, Apple offers waivers on the usual $99 developer account fees for nonprofits, educational institutions, and government groups producing free apps.

Now Apple is expanding eligibility to eight more countries. That brings the total number of countries to offer waived developer fees to 13.

Screen Time improvements move closer with third iOS 13.3 beta

Pre-release testing of iOS 13.3 and the iPad equivalent keeps chugging along. This is the third week in a row Apple introduced new beta versions.

When the full version is released, it will add an important feature to Screen Time, allowing parents to limit with whom their children communicate.

The beta process for iOS 13.3 and its iPad equivalent is moving along. Apple just seeded the second beta of each to developers. The final version, when it’s released to the general public, will help parents limit who their kids talk to with a big improvement to Screen Time.

In addition, there are new betas of watchOS 6.1.1 and tvOS 13.3.
