If you feel like taking AT&T’s LTE network for a spin but don’t want to wait until Apple releases a 4G iPhone? Ma Bell has just announced two new 4G LTE devices: one to hook up to your Mac, and one that can even give your iPhone or iPad true 4G speeds.

The first modem is the AT&T USBConnect Momentum 4G, and it’s a USB dongle for your Mac that will give you plug-and-play access to AT&T’s LTE network. It costs $50 after signing a two year contract and mailing in a $50 mail-in rebate.

Then there’s the AT&T Mobile Hotspot Elevate 4G, which allows you to connect five wireless devices to AT&T’s LTE network: Macs, iPads, iPhones, whatever. It comes with a 1.77-inch display that allows you to see connected devices, signal strength and data usage. It’s a bit pricier at $70 after signing a two-year contract and mailing in a $50 mail-in rebate.

Obviously, the contracts here hide the true cost of these devices, but if you’re an early adopted who lives in one of AT&T’s LTE test beds, such as Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio, you might well consider signing up.
