As jailbreak tweaks go, this one is probably the most simple, but it’s also rather handy. It’s never a good idea to continue to charge a battery way beyond its full charge, and this tweak ensures it doesn’t happen by alerting you when your device’s battery is full.

Full Charge Alert, available through Cydia now for $1.25, is accessible via your device’s Settings app once installed and can be configured to sound one of 40 alerts when your device reaches its full charge. It’s easy to turn the tweak on or off, and you can set it to display a message, sound an alert, and/or vibrate.

Although it’s an incredibly simple feature, Full Charge Alert is a great example of the wide variety of little tweaks available from jailbreaking that can enhance the iOS experience; from changing the look and feel of the OS, to native photo uploading to Facebook, and apps that hide your crafty tethering usage from your carrier.
